Harold and Gabrielle first met in high school when they were both seniors. Gabrielle went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic working at the school Harold attended. Harold was their translator while on the trip and all they can remember from that trip is they enjoyed dancing together. 5 years later Harold and Gabrielle reconnected as leaders on that same trip and the rest is history. Harold proposed in their house before going to dinner with Gabrielle's parents. It was a very intimate special moment for just the two of them.
They had their wedding at the Columbus Zoo at the African Event Center surrounded by safari animals. Nature played a very important part in their wedding. From the animals outside to the flowers throughout the venue. Everyones name was on an agate rock for them to keep with a little eucalyptus to accent each place setting. With a color palette of pearl, blush, cabernet and gold our wedding came to life.
Love this! Plant Joy Studio did an incredible job!
